Lung cancer research receives just 5 per cent of the nation’s tumour-specific research funding. A new audit released today by Cancer Australia details the level of spending on cancer research nationwide. Whilst funding into lung cancer research has risen in the past few years, cancer organisations say more funding is needed if Australia is to see a cure for its biggest cancer killer.
