David Dungay Inquest – Confused Testimony
New developments have emerged in the Coronial Inquest into the death of David Dungay at Long Bay Gaol, Sydney on 29th December 2015. Medical staff at the prison have given evidence, in particular Nurse Z, who was the first to raise alarm at the raised sugar levels in David Dungays blood, which indicated he was at risk as a diabetic.
This initiated the stream of events that tragically led to his death. Many questions still remain surrounding the training of the IAT team that moved David Dungay and the level of medical supervision for this procedure.
