Cyclists ride in silence to honour fallen bike riders

The traffic in Sydney’s CBD was at snails pace on Saturday, as over a hundred protest riders made their way through the city streets. The Ride of Silence is an international memorial event which honours cyclists maimed or killed on our roads. The Green’s Lee Rhiannon says the State Minister for Transport Eric Rosendahl is not taking bike riders issues seriously. She’s highly critical of the minister’s suggestion to ban cyclists in Sydney’s peak hour traffic.
