This week, the Cuban government has allowed its citizens to purchase and sell private property. This is a big step for them. So does this signal the end of the oldest socialist country in Latin America?

Over the past decade, Cuba has introduced a series of free-market reforms, including the free purchase of televisions and mobile phones. Now, the government has approved the purchase and sale of private property. These reforms have been done by Raul Castro, president of the Republic of Cuba.
