A new report published by the Youth Justice Coalition and Marrickville Legal Centre is calling for a change in employer attitudes in regards to hiring young people with previous criminal convictions. The report details the detrimental impact these attitudes can have on these young people, focusing on the lack of opportunity and discrimination faced.

In particular, the report places extra focus on young Indigenous people who are massively over-represented in the criminal justice system, and how they are more vulnerable to this attitudinal discrimination.
