Yesterday was Charles Darwin’s birthday. If the man was alive today, he would be 197 years old, and despite falling short of this, Scientists nonetheless celebrated this year, as they do every year, Darwin’s birthday. For this year’s celebration, Dr Darren Curnoe from the department of Anatonmy at UNSW gave a speech today at the University of Technology that argued that evolutionists are a lot more likely to be environmentally conscious than creationists. The Wire spoke to him and Richard Cizik, Chief of Government Affairs for the National Association of Evangelicals in the US.
