There is growing concern that  the continuing spread of the Covid 19 virus will evolve into a full blown global pandemic.Over 150 cases in Italy are puzzling authorities as there is no indication of how the virus arrived. There have also been suggestions that the incubation period is longer than the 14 days that has been used thus far as the standard period of quarantine. However, Australian researchers at the University of Queensland and the CSIRO are already in the process of producing and testing a vaccine.
