A survey to more than 1,000 journalists across Australia done by Medianet found out journalism could be the latest victims of the pandemic.
With regional newsrooms closing and the role of social media in news consumption, the misinformation spread has increased. The report also showed that freelance journalists were the most affected in the journalism sector with the pandemic crisis. Also, employment circumstances changed during last year.
