Southeast Queensland’s Logan City Council became the second to go following the sacking of Ipswich Council amid allegations of corruption. The sacking of both council is setting a rising trend where several Brisbane councils are under investigation for corruption. Now councils will struggle to gain the trust of the people moving forward.
