The Australian Greens leader Christine Milne has resigned from the position and won’t be contesting the next Federal Election. One of two new deputy leaders Scott Ludlam says he hopes to see the party rise to 20 per cent of the Australian vote, shifting the party from being a minor party, to a major player in the Australian Political Landscape. So what will happen if the Australian Greens do become a third major party in both the lower house and upper house?
