A recent study at the University of Adelaide found that posting and commenting on work in the social network site can be greatly beneficial for users.It is the very reasons why we love Facebook that make it so successful in the classroom. The communal nature of posting and commenting allows for peer feedback which is essential for gaining and strengthening skills. And with the average Australian logging on every day, it’s become easier than ever to update our skills.We talk to Dr. Josh McCarthy of The University of Adelaide to discuss why Facebook isn’t the time-waster it’s made out to be and what this could mean for the future of education in an increasingly online world.
