More than 60 thousand trees will be planted in Southwestern Australia with support from one of the world’s leading cosmetics companies, L’Oréal.

The project’s aim is to counter climate change, develop native forests and support economic self-determination of the Wudjari Nyungar  people.

The Wire’s contributor from First Nations Media Australia Janine Kelly, asked Chairperson of Esperance Tjaltjraak Native Title Aboriginal Corporation and Wudjari woman Gail Reynolds-Adamson, why a company like L’oreal is concerned on planting trees in the area.
