It’s an ecological tragedy equal to climate change but it isn’t getting the same kind of press. Associate Professor Corey Bradshaw from Adelaide University is the lead author of “Tropic turmoil: a Biodiversity tragedy in progress” and he says corrupt governments are rapidly ridding the world of it’s ‘lungs’ the tropical rainforests that maintain carbon dioxide balance in the atmosphere.
