Australia’s low-income earners are becoming more vulnerable as Australia’s economy continues to suffer under the grip of coronavirus.

Casual workers, people on welfare payments and those without housing are particularly worried about what the future holds.

Many who work in social services say that more needs to be done for those financially at risk during this uncertain time.

The Wire’s Grace Aplin spoke to the executive officer of Shelter SA, Alice Clark, and chief executive officer of Australian Social Services, Dr. Cassandra Clark.
