New research published today shows more evidence that climate changes is largely impacted by human activities. Scientists from around the world were involved in the project that involved examining trees and corals amongst other evidence, to find out how climate change patterns were evolving over time.

The researchers found that even though the climate has been changing over the past 1400 years, the hot temperatures used to occur regionally rather than on a global scale. But in the 20th century, higher temperatures have been recorded in all continents, making a global trend. It is the first study to be conducted on such a large scale, with seventy eight scientists from all over the world involved in the research.
