COP 21: Unmissable opportunity to switch to renewable energy

That’s according to Tim Flannery, Chief Councillor of the Climate Council. In the lead up to COP 21, he spoke to Ninah Kopel about how and why the Paris talks could be a success.

It was hailed as a “historic” – the global agreement to limit the effects of climate change. Nearly 200 countries converged in Paris in November and December last year to pledge to reduce emissions. The pledges may not be legally binding, but the opportunities to be gained from switching to renewable energy has never been better.
