Controversial new laws on the prosecution of “war on terror”suspects have just been fast tracked through American congress. In a 65-34 vote, the military commission bill was passed by the Senate last night, allowing new military tribunals to be legally set up to try “war on terror” suspects, including Australian David Hicks.
