Kimberley Aborigines are calling on green groups to respect their decisions. Over recent months, the Kimberley Land Council has been embroiled in a battle with certain environmental groups over the proposal to set up a Liquefied Natural Gas Hub at James Price Point. Speaking at a conference in Darwin, the council’s Executive Director Wayne Bergmann condemned these groups saying Traditional Land Owners are the best people to make decisions about their land. Amy Stewart investigates further.
