A report released last Friday by the Centre for Public Law at the University of New South Wales, found that levels of agreement between the Judges on the Gleeson High Court have reached unprecedented levels. This comes only months after John Howard’s latest appointment to the High Court was announced and has raised questions about the politicization of judicial appointments in Australia. Dr Andrew Lynch, Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Law at the University of New South Wales spoke with The Wire about the just how often the High Court Justices were agreeing with each other.
