Concerns raised over the strategic regional land use policy development

Members of the stakeholder reference groups set up by the NSW Government to help develop the strategic regional land use policy have raised concerns about the direction the process is taking.

The reference group includes representatives from the mining and gas industry, agriculture and environmental stakeholders. And environmental representatives say their calls to protect sensitive areas from gas and mining are being ignored.
