In a result that has surprised the national media and advertising industries, a new survey has shown more than seven million Australians tune into community radio every month – a lot more than previously thought. Jonathan Lucraft spoke to the Community Broadcasting Foundation director overseeing the survey Deb Welch about the figures, and Andrew Liberts spoke to the program manager of Rox FM Tanya Foster, whose station was granted their broadcasting license just yesterday.
