The Community Broadcasting Association of Australia has every reason to celebrate as its recent national survey recorded 5.5 million weekly listeners. It was conducted by McNair yellowSquares, which showed a 10% increase to the previous survey in January.
Jon Bisset, CBAA’s Chief Executive Officer described it as reflective of ‘the value that Australians place on community radio services and their role in sharing local news and information, as well as Australian and specialist music.’
