A new campaign launched this week by community legal services across Australia is calling the Federal government to invest further in the sector.

The campaign called ‘Save Community Legal Centres’ was launched in Canberra, and they’re asking more than $200 million in funding to keep the sector sustainable. If legal centres don’t receive funding, more than 180 000 Australians looking for legal advice on housing, domestic violence, and court cases will be turned away, particularly those in regional areas.
