Commission urges radical changes to public health system

Is Australia about to get a fully federally funded health care system? That’s the question being asked around the country today, as the National Health and Hospitals Reform Commission delivered their final report on health care in Australia.The commission stops short of recommending an immediate takeover of the health care system by Canberra, but does say that outpatient services and community health care should be federal concerns.
