Commemorative coin acknowledges Indigenous military service

The Royal Australian Mint launched a new colourful and embellished $2 coin to commemorate Indigenous Australians who have and are serving in the Australian Defence Force.
Kalkadoon woman and artist Chern’ee Sutton designed the artwork to honour the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who have served to honour their story and history.
The Australian-first was revealed on Tuesday morning and will be released for circulation late this month before Anzac Day.
