A handful of key seats and the Nick Xenophon factor look set to determine the outcome of the 2016 election. The polls have been very close throughout the campaign, but key analysts are predicting either a narrow Coalition win or a hung parliament. Preference votes will be crucial, especially in South Australia where Nick Xenophon could bump Liberal MP’s from traditionally safe seats. But it’s not clear which way his preferences will flow.
