Ever since the controverisal Federal government’s Northern Territory intervention, the issue of Aboriginal health care has been highly debated. But Dr Noel Hayman from Inala Community Health has been helping keep Indigenous Australians healthy for more than thirteen years. Dr Hayman is also this year’s winner of the ‘Close the Gap Indigenous Award’ from the Australians for Native Title and Reconciliation in Queensland and he spoke to the Wire about his most recent work.
