South Australia has endured some of its most ferocious weather in 60 years this week. Strong winds caused mass blackouts across the entire state.

When a freak event like this happens, people are quick to blame climate change. But are they related? The Wire’s Danial Lyas spoke to climate change expert Professor Stefan Williams of the University of Sydney about whether the weather is connected to climate change.
