A report released today by the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) found out a pandemic era is inevitable if governments and the community do not start tackling climate change. The report also found out more than 1.7 million viruses are unknown and around 850,000 could be passed from animals to humans, bringing a pandemic era.

While the response to the COVID pandemic in Australia has been well managed, Australia is not doing something to prevent a pandemic. According to experts and scientists, preventing a pandemic is 100 times cheaper than responding to it, like most countries are in this pandemic.
