Zoos used to be where we went to look at really exotic animals – the lions and tigers and zebras that most of us would otherwise never see in our lifetime. Today they have also taken on the role of saving the ones that we will otherwise soon see for the last time.. An international conference held this week in Adelaide has come together to talk about the new role of zoos in the wake of climate change.
