While the international community focuses on the humanitarian crisis in Sudan, its neighbour Uganda has been largely ignored. A civil war has been on-going for the last eighteen years causing a constant stream of refugees, fleeing the conflict. While the International Criminal Court is looking at prosecuting those responsible for atrocities, Richard Young, Emergency Services Manager for the aid agency Oxfam, says much more needs to be done to reduce the violence. Richard was an aid worker Uganda for nine years. Grant Nemen, former prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia says that regardless of the impact, international justice needs to be achieved.
