A radio documentary, about aging within the queer community, has sparked controversy in Adelaide. Entered into the prestigious Catholic Archbishop of Adelaide Media Citations, the piece was chosen as the outstanding winner. An independent judge submitted the series, only to find out later it had been rejected by the church. Now, after a flurry of negative publicity, the award has been reinstated, along with an apology.
