Solvent abuse is an issue affecting young people across the nation. In Queensland, members from the Inala Justice Group have discussed their agenda with Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Policy Liddy Clarke. With government backing the justice group can provide support networks for youth in the area to combat the sniffing of spray cans, petrol and glue. Minister Clarke says she’s supportive. Shem Leisha, youth mentor from the Inala justice group says it is important to have government support behind them.
