While most of us will be enjoying the festive season from the comfort of our own homes, there will be those who are less fortunate and be spending that time in hospital. A group of children undergoing treatment at Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick will be doing just that and have joined the Australian Red Cross Blood Service in asking Australians to donate this Christmas. Australian Red Cross Blood Service’s Operations Manager, Philippa Hetzel, says there is a dire need for donations but especially at this time of year.
