Children with FASD missing out on the NDIS

Families who have children with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) have expressed concern that they are missing out on receiving funding from the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Since June this year, only 265 NDIS plans have been approved by the National Disability Insurance Agency.
This comes as the Federal Government announced it will provide $9.2 million to the National FASD Strategy, due to be launched this year.
