Children more at risk due to air pollution

A new report from the Climate Council has found air pollution is endangering children at thousands of schools and childcare centres
The pollution exposes developing children to face increased risk of asthma attacks, reduced lung functions and respiratory conditions.
Although urban city planning can play a role in how much exposure to pollution children can face, the Climate Council says the approach should look further into cleaner energy.
Director at the Climate Council and an author of the report, Sean O’Rourke spoke with The Wire’s Zachary Probert to discuss the report and what it could mean for the future.
