The Gladstone Observer in Queensland recently reported a number of teenage boys would face charges of possession, creation OR distribution of child exploitation material. These charges come out of an increasing number of images deemed “inappropriate” found on teenagers’ mobile phones and computers. Children under the age of sixteen, if convicted on child exploitation charges, will be placed on the Australian National Child Offender Register.
