Besides the every day restriction on movements in Gaza the occupation has seen restricted access to clean water and fresh food, leading to illness and disease, especially in women and children. Dr Mona El Farra is a physician who has been running community programs to try and help. She is in Australia on a speaking tour to raise awareness of the public health issues facing the people of Gaza.
