With childcare free throughout the pandemic many indigenous parents have enrolled their children . This week the government pulled the plug and reintroduced fees. The peak body for indigenous children says this is a mistake as attending childcare has been a big and positive change for many children whose parents could not otherwise afford for them to attend.
