Child labour faces an uncertain future as India tightens child labour laws. The new law, effective October 10 bans children under 14 years of age from working as domestic help or in the food and hospitality sector. The last ban came in 1986, not affecting the numbers in child labour which grew to almost 20 million this year. Rachna Subir Sen spoke with Editor of an Indian newspaper in Australia, Sidharth Suresh.
