A lot happened over the weekend to affect the future of school funding: Tony Abbott agreed to provide $2.8 billion to Australian schools, and Victoria signed up to the current government’s Better Schools Plan. With these new funding promises and deals coming just as the federal election is announced, Emma Rennie investigates what it would mean for Australian schools if the Coalition is voted in.
