Diminishing sea ice in the Canadian Arctic is having an impact on the lives of the Inuit, the indigenous people of Canada’s north. Hunting and fishing hold a central place the lives of the Inuit but they now have to travel further to hunt the animals that are a vital source of food and the sea ice they travel across is less safe.
