With a large percentage of the Australian population now working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, fly-in-fly-out and drive-in-drive-out workers are continuing to work in remote locations in industries such as mining.

But although Safe Work Australia have released guidelines for employers to enforce in order to take care of the health and safety of workers and the broader community, there are concerns across the political divide that not enough is being done.
