Census 2011 reverses undercounting of Indigenous Australians

Census 2011 today will attempt to address twenty years of undercounting of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population. A 20 milllion investment will mean rural and remote areas of Northern Australia will be reached by the Census snapshot. Director of Census Northern Australia Celia Moss is in the middle of distributing census forms, and taking 10 hours to travel to each of these areas.
