Research shows that thirty seven percent of people caring for a relative suffer serious to extreme depression and stress. On the wellbeing index carers come last, after unemployed people and those that live alone. But the Australian Psychological Conference in Cairns heard today, World Mental Health Day, that there are measures that could make a difference.
