Scientists from the University of Queensland have confirmed the existence of lymphatic cells in the brains of zebrafish.

This study builds on prior research by the University of Virginia regarding the presence of lymphatic vessels in mice.

Studies like this help scientists understand the form and function of the brain and have the potential to provide future insight into how neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s and stroke could be better treated.
