Video game technology is now being used to improve the quality of life of elder Australians living in aged-care facilities. South Australian nursing home Tailem Bend has piloted a program with American company ‘It’s never 2 late’. It uses touch screen and internet technology to assist, rehabilitate and entertain elders. They believe computer technologies have the potential to enhance aged-care facilities nationwide. But will it work?
