It’s food allergy awareness week and in Australia, one in five people are affected by allergies, costing the economy thirty billion dollars a year in medical treatment, lost productivity and poor health. Allergies can also be fatal. Yet we have NO national plan for how to respond to a disease that will affect eight million Australians by twenty fifty.
