The Australian Bureau of Statistics in 2018 revealed that 1.1 million Australians with a disability between the ages of 15 and 64 were in the workforce.

Discrimination and lack of information are some of the reasons companies do not employ people with a disability.

Organisations are calling on Federal government to change the Disability Employment Scheme to give more opportunities to those seeking employment.
