Calls for greater investment to bridge rural health gap

The rural health sector says the health of country Australians hasn’t been given the attention it deserves this election and they’re is calling on the major parties to take notice of their list of priorities.

The Rural Health Alliance wants the next government to fund more Indigenous health workers, incentivise people to work in the bush, upgrade internet infrastructure and commit to eliminating rheumatic heart disease.
